We're thrilled to share that we are able to once again host the fun and fantastic Lady Buggy all the way from Alberta for an online program: Bugs! Bugs! Fabulous Bugs!
Use the link below to register for an hour-long program Zoom event where we'll dive into an overview of insects and explore different ways to safely interact with any friends you find outside (or inside!) your home. Then, we'll talk a bit about why all the different insects are important for the environment and the ecosystems where they live.
This program is free, and is intended for an audience of ages 5-12.
Join us for a twist on our usual Friday morning storytime as we listen to themed books and then complete a butterfly craft!
Take home kits will be available for families who are busy after the storytime as this program will continue after the usual half-hour program length.
This program features stories, songs, rhymes and a feltboard story for ages 2-5.
We are also continuing with online storytime for those who do not wish to attend in-person. These sessions appear on the Library's facebook page and can be viewed later.
