If I am a talking book user?

  • You may borrow talking books or DAISY CDs with a letter and library card from your home library.

May I renew or place holds?

  • You may renew books five times online, by phone, or in person at the library. ** Special items may have fewer renewals **
  • You may have five holds at a time.

Where do I return items?

  • Returns may be made at any participating public library in BC, but please try to return items where you borrowed them.

Note to One Card borrowers from the Okanagan Regional Library

Items borrowed from the Penticton Public Library and returned to branches of the Okanagan Regional Library are first sent to Kelowna and then mailed to Penticton. We cannot “checkin” an item until we receive it. Therefore, it is still considered “out” and will appear so on your record. Items that are still out may effect the number of new items you may borrow. If you make frequent use of our library, please consider returning our items directly.
